Condolences On The Passing Of MCM Rudon “Ronnie” Armbrister

May 10, 2023

Dear Family and Friends of Ronnie Armbrister,

On behalf of the entire FNM party, I extend my deepest my deepest condolences on the passing of Rudon “Ronnie” Armbrister. Ronnie was a true and valued supporter of our party, and his passing has left a profound impact on all of us. My life and journey benefited from Ronnie’s advice and his example of activism and selfless commitment to our Party and Bahamian people.

Ronnie was not just a political supporter but also a talented vocalist and a lover of the piano. His stylistic relations of “A Change is Gonna Come” encouraged us during the dark days of opposition politics. We will always remember him for his incredible musical talent and joy he brought to our lives.

Moreover, Ronnies contributions to The Bahamas Musicians & Entertainment Union are immeasurable. He was a two-time Vice President of the union and later became President after the death if Percival Sweeting. He led the union with distinction and was always there to fight for the rights of workers.

Ronnie was an excellent singer, entertainer, and union leader, and we are honored to have had him as a member of our community. His passing is a great loss to all of us. He was a fixture at events where we celebrated and honored our fallen members. The memories he helped to create warms our hearts and stirs our spirit.

May his soul Rest In Peace as he now sings with the Heavenly Chior. We will always remember him with fondness and admiration for the wonderful person he was.

To his wife Thomasina and children, our thoughts and prayers are with you, may you find comfort in the memories of Ronnie’s life and the love he shared with those around him.
