Ten ways an FNM government will work for you
Only the FNM has a real plan to fix what's broken in The Bahamas, and build what's next. The next FNM government under Michael Pintard's leadership will:
01
Cut taxes for ordinary people by removing all VAT and import duties on healthy foods and essential medications to reduce the cost of living and improve public health.
02
Build at least 5,000 new homes across the country so more Bahamians can own their own home.
03
Fix our broken health service by immediately hiring 100 new doctors and 200 new nurses, upgrading our hospitals, and addressing the mental health crisis.
04
Extend the National Health Insurance system so everyone can afford the care they need.
05
Provide $200 per month in child support for the first two years of life and transform schools with support for teachers, giving Bahamians the best chance from cradle to college.
06
Establish a $100 weekly stipend to help young people into training courses to gain valuable skills and help address youth unemployment.
07
Recruit 150 additional frontline police officers each year and deliver our Ten Point Crime Plan, addressing the root causes of crime to keep Bahamians safe.
08
Tackle the immigration crisis with Operation SHIELD: Secure land, Heighten surveillance, Investigate abuse, End unfairness, Limit approvals, and Disclose data.
09
Slash red tape to back businesses and entrepreneurs to get our economy growing in a way that benefits all Bahamians, creates more well-paid jobs, and funds high-quality public services.
10
Crack down on corruption, cut waste, and stop the awarding of crony government contracts so taxpayers’ money goes on things that benefit all Bahamians.
