I have been informed that an individual with whom my wife and I entered into a business arrangement in 2024 has been arrested in Broward County, Florida, USA, on allegations relating to controlled substances.
To be clear, neither I nor my wife had any knowledge of, involvement in, or benefit from any alleged unlawful activity connected to this matter. At no time did I nor my wife authorize, participate in, or sanction any criminal conduct.
As a former senior officer of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, I have dedicated my life to the enforcement of law and the protection of our country. I will not speculate on allegations that are now properly before law enforcement authorities. My wife and I will fully cooperate with any lawful inquiry in The Bahamas or the United States.
