The Constitution Committee extends sincere thanks and gratitude to the Party members and Organizations who devoted the time and energy necessary to make the Committee’s work possible. The Constitution of the Free National Movement provides its doctrinal foundation, and its amendment, revision, and updating remains a solemn and necessary task as we seek to engage more meaningfully with our membership and deepen, and demonstrate, our commitment to democratic principles.

Each member of the Free National Movement demonstrates a commitment to abide by and uphold the Party’s Constitution and it is essential that the Constitution continues to speak to, and reflect, the values of Party members.

Attached hereto is a draft of the Constitution with the proposed 2022 amendments in red for Members consideration. The amendments reflected in this draft Constitution represent the Committee’s effort to reflect and implement the views of those who participated in this exercise and to ensure that the Constitution of the Free National Movement remains a vibrant and living document.

The Awards and Honours Recognition Committee has been constituted to receive, consider, and recommend applications for suitable individuals for the honour of Freedom Fighter.
