Welbourne Bootle

Welbourne Clinton Bootle is a descendent of Grand Bahama, his grandfather born in West Grand Bahama and his mother born in East Grand Bahama. Welbourne attended All Age School in Coopers Town, Abaco, and went on to work in the tourism industry upon graduation before joining the Royal Bahamas Police Force.

Welbourne served as a member of the Elite Strike Force as a sharpshooter, where his team was often stranded on cays for days without communication, but his love of country and desire to serve kept his focus on the mission. He later went on to serve the community of Pineridge and Grand Bahama for 19 years as a law enforcement officer.

As your Member of Parliament for Pineridge, Welbourne will work to move Pineridge forward together by developing the youth and investing in initiatives to keep Pineridge safe and clean while promoting entrepreneurial and employment opportunities for all residents.
