Reuben Rahming was  born in Nassau Bahamas on September 14th, 1970  to Rev. Dr. J. Carl & Evangeline Rahming. He received his early education in Nassau  completing high school at R.M. Bailey Secondary School.  He earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration in 1993 and a Bachelors of Education and Business Administration Degree in 1995 at Baptist Christian College in Shreveport, Louisiana.  He obtained a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Christian Counseling in 2004 from Universal Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Reuben has been a lecturer at Bahamas Christian College, served as a trainer for the Bahama Host Programme at the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and as a recruiter of Bahamian students for Wiley College in Marshall Texas..

Before pursuing his college education he worked at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Paradise Island serving as Executive Manager for Receiving and Stores. He later worked with Convenient City Transit and Reliable Tours. Since 1997 he has been engaged in his own Business, BFMS Ltd & Epiphany.

Rueben has served on several Government Boards and been active in community and civic organizations serving as Deputy and Chair of community policing initiatives over the past 18 years. He is a founding Member of Kiwanis Fox Hill East Nassau.  He is a founding member of the Public Transit Association of The Bahamas (PTAB) and founded the PTAB Toastmasters Club of Nassau in 2009.  In 2008 and 2009 he was a finalist for the Cacique Award in transportation and was awarded the Citizen Heritage Award in 2010.

A member of St Paul’s Baptist Church, Fox Hill. Reuben is married to Natasha Y. Rahming and they are the parents of four children.
