Janice Oliver

Janice Yvette Oliver is a Registered Nurse, Midwife, and community leader. She has more than
twenty years of dedicated service across Grand Bahama, Andros, and Bimini as a nursing
professional. Her career has been grounded in frontline healthcare and shaped by a deep
commitment to improving the lives of women, children, seniors, and vulnerable populations.

She has served as Resident Nurse at the Eight Mile Rock Clinic, providing leadership in primary
healthcare delivery, chronic disease management, and community health initiatives. Janice has
also held senior clinical and administrative roles, including Nurse in Charge and Clinic
Administrator at the Bimini Community Clinic and Urgent Care, as well as leadership positions
throughout North Andros.

Janice is a trusted grassroots advocate and former local government leader, known for advancing
healthcare access, infrastructure development, and community empowerment. She is the Founder
and President of Unity in the Community, an organization focused on health education, social
support, and empowerment.

Janice holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Administration and is currently
pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She is committed to accessible healthcare, strong
communities, and transparent, accountable governance.
