Mr. Bowleg is a believer of quality customer service not only locally but internationally, because of this it led him to complete the course in Bahamahost.  He is also a big fan of education, hence, he is always looking for ways in which he can give back to the community in educational needs. Mr. Bowleg has given back in many ways, one of which is to provide educational tools for the children in his constituency.

Mr. Bowleg obtained his primary education at the Mastic Point All Age School, and continued on to Secondary Education at the North Andros High School.  He furthered his education at Prospect Hall School of Business in Hollywood Florida where he obtained his Degree in Computer Programming and Accounting.

He returned to the Bahamas in 1996 and was appointed to the Public Service as a Customs Officer, he served on several Family Islands such as Fresh Creek, San Andros, Nassau, and Bimini; he was a civil servant for twenty (20) years.

He began his journey as a civil servant in Fresh Creek Andros, and ended it in Bimini where he resigned from the Public Service to join front line Politics.

Mr. Bowleg have a special affinity for his hometown where he saw the potential for growth and wanted to be a part of the solution, hence, he accepted the nomination to run for North Andros and The Berry Islands and won his seat.

Mr. Carlton G. Bowleg is presently posted in the Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources as a Parliamentary Secretary, with the portfolio for BAMSI.

He is married to Kara Bowleg, they have five children, four girls and one boy, whom they love dearly.
