Meet the New Faces Amongst FNM’s 17 Ratified Candidates

Feb 3, 2021

The Free National Movement (FNM) issued the following statement regarding the addition of five new faces to their initial release of candidates:

“Just yesterday, the Central Council of the Free National Movement convened a Special Called Meeting to ratify their initial list in advance of the next general election. Amongst them were five, strong new candidates: Felicia-Antionette Knowles – Cat Island, Rum Cay and San Salvador; Kenneth “Ken” Smith – Mangrove Cay and South Andros; Stephen Greenslade – Garden Hills; and Brian Brown – Golden Isles. Each of which brings their fresh perspective to our party’s growing ranks of leaders.

“Each of them brings a wide range of new skills and talents to the FNM. From an experienced insurance broker, to a multifaceted entrepreneur; and a long-time party activist, to a telecommunications specialist, or a current Senator, they are well-known within their respective communities. It benefits our party to have them as our candidates. They will not only assist in their prospective fields, but also add valuable insight and perspective to our policy agendas that work towards building a better future for everyone.

“The future is bright for these candidates. While candidacy can be difficult at times, each one of these individuals is not only up to the task but is committed to upholding the party’s message and being a rejuvenating voice for all.”
